It is not reason or tradition 
that is at the core
of my connection to the Earth.
It is the lived experience of a shared consciousness,
of an innate awareness and of feelings 
understood through a body of senses that include
derma, organs, blood, bone and rhythm.
My paintings are inspired by what I see
as a being who is part of the natural order.
